Rajnish Khare will join Union Bank of India as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) from November 2022. He is a digital banking leader with over 23 years of experience in banking, where he has been responsible for digital strategy, technology, transformation, payments, digital channels, innovation, platforms, ecosystems, and future-ready programmes for domestic and multinational banks.
In his previous organisations, he successfully led executive leadership roles such as Head Digital Transformation at HDFC Bank, Chief Innovation Officer at Citibank, Head of Direct Banking & Innovation at Standard Chartered Bank, Head of Alternate Channels & Cross Sell in ICICI Bank, and others where his focus was to build global digital assets to improve organisational business and accelerate growth.
He has received various honors both worldwide and in India, including Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Leader of the Year by IDC Singapore, ICON of the Year by HDFC Bank MD, and the Golden Peacock Award for Innovation.
He is an international speaker and advises Fintechs and start-ups all over the world.
