Wipro has announced the launch of a new AI-first innovation hub in GIFT City, strengthening its capabilities to serve global BFSI clients and accelerate its AI-led transformation strategy.
The newly established hub will focus on delivering advanced artificial intelligence solutions tailored for the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. Powered by Wipro Intelligence, the company’s AI platform, the centre will enable use cases across core banking operations, risk management, regulatory compliance, and legacy system transformation.
With financial institutions increasingly adopting AI-driven technologies, the GIFT City hub is positioned to support global clients with scalable, high-impact solutions. The facility is designed to initially accommodate around 150 professionals, with the capacity to scale up to 500 seats as demand grows.
The move reflects Wipro’s strategic focus on deepening client engagement through innovation-led delivery models while strengthening its presence in India’s emerging financial and technology hub.
