New Delhi: Former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover has launched a new fintech venture, Fund My Staff, aimed at making small-ticket personal loans more accessible for salaried employees through employer-backed credit.
The platform enables employers to act as guarantors for employees seeking formal personal loans, helping individuals with limited credit history or access to traditional lending channels secure financing more easily. According to the app’s description, eligible employees can avail loans backed by their employer, with repayments made through convenient monthly EMIs.
Unlike conventional personal lending models, Fund My Staff leverages the employer’s guarantee to reduce credit risk while simplifying access to formal credit. The initiative is expected to benefit employees requiring short-term financial assistance without relying on informal borrowing sources.
The loans will be originated by Ash Grove Capital Pvt. Ltd., an RBI-registered non-banking financial company (NBFC), ensuring that lending operations remain compliant with regulatory guidelines.

The launch marks Ashneer Grover’s latest venture in the fintech space following his exit from BharatPe. With Fund My Staff, he aims to address a key gap in India’s credit ecosystem by combining employer trust with regulated lending infrastructure to improve financial inclusion for the salaried workforce.
As digital lending continues to evolve in India, employer-assisted credit models such as Fund My Staff could emerge as an alternative financing channel for companies looking to enhance employee financial well-being while expanding access to formal credit.
