ICICI Bank announced the launch of the ‘Student Sapphiro Forex Card’, a premium Forex prepaid card designed exclusively for students studying abroad. The Visa-powered card offers students and their parents exceptional benefits and ease in managing education-related expenses overseas, such as admission fees, course-related fees, and other day-to-day expenses such as transport, dining, and grocery.
The card allows students to load and trade in 15 currencies without incurring any cross-currency mark-up charges from the Bank, allowing them to easily travel around the world even if they just put one currency onto the card. This move follows a steady increase in Indian students studying abroad.
The ICICI Bank Student Sapphiro Forex Card provides a variety of joining rewards worth up to Rs 15,000, as well as exclusive perks. It comes with a welcome package that includes two cards–a primary and a replacement card–that may be activated digitally via iMobile Pay, internet banking, or by phoning the Bank’s Customer Care if the primary card is lost or damaged. This card, like any other Forex card supplied by the Bank, can be reloaded digitally by students and parents using iMobile Pay and Internet banking at any time and from any location. The Bank offers a variety of currency cards for students travelling overseas.
