ICICI Bank unveils ‘SmartLock’, a new safety feature for iMobile Pay

iMobile Pay

ICICI Bank announced “SmartLock,” a novel safety feature that lets users lock and unlock several banking services at once without contacting customer support via phone or email.

Customers can take control of their account security by simply clicking a button to lock or unlock their access to internet banking, UPI (including payments from other UPI applications connected to the bank account), credit cards, and debit cards. This feature is available on iMobile Pay. The first-of-its-kind solution in the Indian banking industry, “SmartLock,” also lets users lock and unlock the full iMobile Pay system.

Customers can utilise this function to temporarily deactivate a specific financial service. In the event of a potential fraudulent transaction, they may also utilize it. It is important to note that even when a customer locks a financial service, scheduled standing instructions (SI) and E-mandates can still be processed thanks to the “SmartLock” feature.
