In a bid to promote the usage of digital payments, the Uttar Pradesh government will soon organise camps at the district and tehsil headquarters across the State.
The State government will run a ‘Digidhan Mela’ initiative in Allahabad, reported The Economic Times.
“Officials should also run a ‘Lucky Grahak Yojana’ to educate people about the digital mode of payments,” Chief Secretary, Digital Payment Schemes, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Bhatnagar.
The State government has been already running various awareness programmes to encourage users to adopt digital payments.
