Private lender HDFC bank has taken down its next-gen mobile banking app from Google Play Store, Apple App Store just within a week of its launch.
Reportedly, the customers who upgraded to the new mobile app were locked out of their HDFC accounts. In the wake of this, the bank has taken the app down from both Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
While the lender has not issued any official communiqué in this regard, however, if you search for the app, neither the new nor the old app is available on any of the two app stores.
While the new app is not available for downloading, customers who are already using the old one can easily complete their banking formalities without any problem
In the meantime, the lender has requested all its users who had switched to its new mobile banking app to use Net Banking, Pay Zapp, Phone Banking and Missed-Call Banking to access the regular banking services till the time the issue isn’t fixed.
