ACKO Insurance, leading insurtech companies, has recorded more than Rs100 crores in premium for its Employee Group Health Insurance in FY21, and within one year of launch. Since then, ACKO has onboarded 70+ companies including Virtusa, Swiggy, Razorpay, CRED, Akzo Nobel, Xiaomi and Go-MMT and insured nearly 2.8+ lac lives.
ACKO’s success in the Group Health Insurance market is being credited to modern technology with robust processes that helped in delivering unprecedented flexibility, transparent pricing, simplicity and efficiency to both employers and employees.
“These uncertain times have brought concerns about employee health and wellbeing to the forefront and have reinforced the importance of having a comprehensive employee health benefit plan. ACKO aims to deliver a higher quality healthcare experience to all of our customers. Our employee benefits plan is a complete health care package that takes the overall physical and mental well-being of those covered into consideration in addition to encouraging a healthy lifestyle. The strength of our differentiated employee benefit product is evident from the high business growth we have seen over the last year, and we expect this growth trajectory to continue going forward,” said Janani Viswanathan, Head of Health Insurance Business, ACKO Insurance.
“Our Employee Benefit Plan or Group Health Insurance is differentiated to meet the needs of new age, people-first organisations”, she added.
Buoyed by its early success, ACKO Health has outlined an aggressive growth strategy to double the premium to be received in FY22 and to onboard at least 200+ people-first organisations.
