Decentro Unveils eNACH and UPI AutoPay, Streamlining Recurring Payments

Decentro

Decentro, India’s largest fintech infrastructure platform, has introduced eNACH & UPI AutoPay, intended to streamline and simplify the management of recurring payments for businesses. The company hopes to assist at least 100+ enterprises with integrating these modules over the next three months, addressing some of the most difficult obstacles that businesses encounter regarding recurring payments. The first partner bank for this new module is YES Bank.

The total addressable market (TAM) for recurring payments in India is around $800 million. However, businesses encounter several hurdles, resulting in a large time (and monetary) commitment of at least 500 man-hours to integrate and test these systems with their banking partners. One such obstacle is the lengthy process of obtaining a utility code, which can significantly impede eNACH adoption. Furthermore, many payment gateways are unaware that lenders should use their utility codes rather than the payment gateway’s code for compliance.

Decentro‘s procedures and SOPs make it easier to secure utility codes for lenders, cutting integration time to less than a week and lowering NPCI and bank rejection rates during onboarding.

The integration process is 5X faster thanks to streamlined API documentation and the ability to use these functions immediately on the dashboard through a no-code approach, reducing the go-live timescale.

The module promises to increase success rates by at least 5-10% by improving handling of last-mile NPCI and bank error codes and proactively addressing frequent difficulties such as inadequate funds in preparation for mandate presentations.

This integrated solution reduces overall operational expenses by about 5X, increases customer happiness, and shortens time to market for firms that use recurring payments and UPI mandates.

Commenting on the launch, Rohit Taneja, Founder and CEO of Decentro, said, “The future of recurring payments in India hinges on simplicity and ease of access. With the launch of our ENACH and UPI Auto Pay solutions, we’re addressing long-standing challenges like cumbersome integrations, low success rates, and compliance hurdles.

By offering faster onboarding, 5-10% increased success rates, and streamlined utility code management, we’re enabling our customers to focus on growth rather than operational inefficiencies. As India’s subscription and repayment use cases continue to grow, Decentro is proud to be at the forefront, delivering a solution that is reliable, compliant, and built for scale.”

Ashish Gupta, VP – Product at Leo1, shared his experience: “Integrating Decentro’s eNACH product was a game-changer for us. The support team was incredibly responsive, guiding us through each step of the process. The smooth integration process and exceptional support from the Decentro team made all the difference, helping us scale effortlessly and efficiently.”
