Digit Insurance launches three new health plans

To further improve its health insurance portfolio, Go Digit General Insurance, one of India’s fastest growing insurance companies, has announced three new plans under the Digit Health Insurance policy. The three plans—Digit Double Wallet, Digit Infinity Wallet, and Digit Global Treatment—are designed to meet Indians’ newly evolved health insurance demands following the pandemic.

What the three plans will include:

1. Infinite Sum Insured with Digit Infinity Wallet Plan

Customers can choose an unlimited back-up sum insured (SI) with the Digit Infinity Wallet plan to assist cover escalating medical expenditures. This enables people to file several claims throughout the same policy year. However, no one claim can exceed the SI under the insurance, and the backup SI will be activated only after the SI has been depleted.

  • The back-up money insured will be activated from the first day, and there will be no exhaustion clause.
  • People will be able to use their sum insured many times in a single year as a result of this. However, no one claim can exceed the SI under the insurance, and the backup SI will be activated only after the SI has been depleted.

2. Double Sum Insured with Digit Double Wallet Plan

The Digit Double Wallet Plan will provide policyholders with the option of doubling their back-up sum insured. Customers will have access to double the sum insured (SI) chosen in the same policy year as backup SI.

  • A single claim cannot exceed the SI under the insurance, and the backup SI will be activated only after the SI has been depleted.
  • This plan will be less expensive than the Digit Infinity Wallet Plan.

3. Freedom of Treatment anywhere in the world with Digit Worldwide Treatment

The Digit Global Treatment Plan would allow patients to receive treatment anywhere in the globe, including India. Clients who are diagnosed with an ailment in India might plan to receive treatment elsewhere.
