Kinara Capital, India’s fast-growing fintech promoting MSME financial inclusion, launched an INR 500 crore fund and extended benefits to commemorate the fifth anniversary of its HerVikas programme for female entrepreneurs. The new perks aim to encourage more women-owned MSME companies to enjoy the benefits of early access to formal financing by providing them with catalytic cash.

HerVikas will automatically offer qualifying women entrepreneurs a 1% interest rate reduction on collateral-free business loans, a 60-day repayment period, and a 50% decrease in loan processing fees. In addition to delivering bias-free loan decisions using the AI/ML-powered myKinara App, HerVikas will be offered to newly registered MSME startups in the Manufacturing and Trading sectors that meet the eligibility criteria within one month of business registration. HerVikas aims to empower more female entrepreneurs to achieve their company ambitions at a cheaper cost and without urgent loan payback problems.

Hardika Shah, Founder & CEO, Kinara Capital, said, “Every year, we are inspired by our own HerVikas customers who are collectively breaking the glass ceiling. And, now in the 5th year of this program, we are proudly committing our largest allocation to date of INR 500 crores in FY25 and introducing new benefits aimed at empowering more women-owned MSME startups to thrive. By easing access to credit, and enhancing it further with reduced charges and delayed repayment, we are confident that the HerVikas program will empower even more women entrepreneurs to strengthen their business growth.”

Kinara Capital has so far disbursed approximately INR 700 crores in collateral-free business loans through the HerVikas programme. With an extra allocation of INR 500 crores, HerVikas disbursements will exceed INR 1,200 crores by FY25.

Since its inception, the HerVikas programme has been a transformative force, empowering 5,800 women MSME entrepreneurs in over 100 locations across India. The HerVikas programme has also resulted in over 31,000 jobs being supported in local economies, including over 5,500 new jobs generated by female entrepreneurs. Overall, HerVikas support has resulted in a cumulative post-loan net income generation of around INR 187 crores, with women entrepreneurs seeing an average 16% rise in their owner remuneration from their businesses.
