It is focused on ensuring that the death claim request at the branch is processed right away and the customer’s family can get the documents verified at the branch itself. The claim settlement letter is handed over within 30 minutes, hence avoiding the back and forth at the backend.
This updated procedure of claim settlement service is available to Aviva policy beneficiaries who have eligible policies that have completed three or more continuous years, in which the claim amount is Rs 15 lakhs or less and do not warrant any field verification. The mandatory documents are to be submitted within the working hours on any working day at any Aviva Life Insurance branch.
