Easebuzz Secures RBI Approval to Operate as an Online Payment Aggregator

Easebuzz, a leading full-stack payment solutions provider, has received final authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an Online Payment Aggregator (PA) under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007. This milestone reinforces Easebuzz’s position as a trusted digital payment platform, facilitating seamless transactions for businesses across various sectors, including eCommerce, Education, Real Estate, and Travel & Tourism.

With this approval, Easebuzz joins an exclusive list of RBI-authorised payment aggregators, strengthening its ability to process online payments within the regulatory framework. The company’s platform currently handles an annualised Gross Transaction Value (GTV) of USD 30 billion, serving over 2,00,000 businesses, including SMEs and startups.

The company has recently entered the B2B payments space, launching an invoice management and payments platform in collaboration with NPCI Bharat BillPay (NBBL). Additionally, Easebuzz has been certified as a Biller Operating Unit (BOU) on the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS).

The company has witnessed remarkable growth in FY24, with revenues soaring to INR 290 crore and projected to surpass INR 600 crore in FY25. The platform’s daily transaction volume has exceeded 1 million transactions, and Easebuzz has remained profitable since its inception.
