eMudhra unveiled the new version of eSign services (version 3.0), that offer users an innovative way to sign documents in no time using cloud-based electronic signatures generated via offline e-KYC mechanism.
The licensed Certifying Authority under the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), eMudhra is India’s first licensed e-Signature Service Provider (ESP) to launch the new eSign services.
Giving customers a respite from the paper-based e-KYC (Know Your Customer)verification also the use of electronic signatures, the new eSign services provided the user with a power to create an e-KYC account, which is valid for two years, and e-verification for the credentials will have to be done only once.
This newly cloud based signing process eliminates the requirement of complicated hardware (USB Token) or client software to complete digital signing mandates of the user.
