In a bid to offer better convenience to its customers, ESAF Small Finance Bank is planning to introduce robot-aided banking services. The bank recently completed two years of its operations.
As planned by the lender, its total branch network is expected to cross the 500-mark by 2020 from the present 440. Its operations are spread across 14 States and 113 districts.
In the past two years, the bank has added close to 10 lakh customers said K Paul Thomas, MD and CEO. He further added that the bank’s deposits increased to Rs 3,900 crore, while total business inflated to Rs 8,900 crore.
He added that the bank is going to celebrate is annual day on Saturday in Thrissur and C Raveendranath, the State Education Minister, will be inaugurating the second anniversary celebrations of the bank.
The lender holds a capital base of Rs 880 crore and more than 2,000 people are on its rolls. In addition, it is also planning to introduce, the new mobile app for UPI to facilitate fund transfer and corporate banking facilities, besides the existing banking app. It also provides doorstep services and Hridaya Deposit Scheme.
