PhonePe, digital payments platform has partnered with India’s third largest bank, Axis Bank on UPI multi-bank model, offering its users the chance to create and use multiple UPI IDs with Axis Bank’s “@axl” handle.
Furthermore, PhonePe will begin acquiring merchants with Axis Bank in addition to its alliance with YES Bank. This is in sync with the company’s philosophy of providing users and merchant partners a hassle free transaction flow. Partnering with multiple banking partners will be further strengthening the overall service reliability and uptime of PhonePe’s offering, stated the official communique.
