AMU EV financing collaborates with IN-D to automate lending process

AMU Leasing, an EV-only NBFC, has announced a collaboration with IN-D. IN-D is an artificial intelligence platform that enables low-cost and location-independent digital operations by automating manual “Document to Data” processes. AMU Leasing hopes to automate the lending procedure for EV end users through this collaboration. This will assist clients in becoming accustomed to a digital approach from the start of their EV journey. Because the EV business is still in its infancy and the majority of clients are first-time buyers, a speedier processing mechanism will allow them to invest in EVs with simple access to financial assistance.

According to AMU Leasing, the collaboration will pave the way for a digitalised environment, which will contribute to a speedier processing mechanism, allowing consumers to receive financial loans more easily. It is worth noting that, because the EV financing sector is still in its early phases, the majority of consumers are first-time EV buyers. India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities have recently emerged as a viable market for EV financing. The specified alliance is expected to integrate these cities to the formal lending system, with speedier loan disbursement in place.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with IN-D and as an EV financing company, we perceive this partnership as an important step towards the reformation of EV loan services from a technological perspective. AI introduction will help us get leverage in the market to create mass adoption of EVs. While keeping the organization lean, we plan to execute 1 million disbursements by 2027 and ease the digital lending process for our customers. With the Incorporation of the latest technology, we can assure that the best automobile financing services are being provided to potential EV buyers which will eventually lead to the overall increment of EV sales in the country.,” said Nehal Gupta, Director, AMU Leasing Pvt. Ltd.

AMU Leasing is one of the largest EV financing companies in the country to combine cutting-edge AI technology into their financing methods. This is seen as a milestone in the industry because incorporating AI in the early phases of loan operations would help the brand achieve economies of scale while opening the road for mass adoption. One of the most notable benefits of utilising modern technology is the ability to make objective decisions for all loan applicants, which is critical for the success of any EV financing company.

“We are delighted to share that AMU Leasing and Financing, a financial services company focusing on electric vehicle financing, has partnered with IN-D to build a next-generation digital lending platform by automating all document-based operations. We anticipate that this partnership will bring positive changes in the EV financing industry. We appreciate the sincere commitment of the leadership at AMU Leasing to bring the best experience for their customers,” said, Director, IN-D.

Notably, AMU leasing has been working hard to improve its technological prowess in 2022. Prior to the IN-d collaboration, it included Provenir, an AI-powered global data and intelligence platform that enables data access faster and easier.
