Through this MoU, Bank of India’s selected 433 branches will serve as Service Centres, providing last-mile connectivity to seniors, particularly those in distant locations without access to SPARSH or technological competence. These branches will serve as an interface for SPARSH, allowing pensioners to update their profiles, file grievances and seek redress, complete digital yearly identification, verify their pensioner data and access specific information about their monthly stipend. Later, these services will be provided to all 5100+ bank branches.
The MOU reflects the Bank of India’s ongoing efforts to adopt innovative technology to better serve Defence Pensioners and provide timely services.
