Edelweiss Mutual Fund has named Aniruddha Kekatpure as its Head of Research. Aniruddha is a seasoned expert with over two decades of experience in financial services and asset management.
Edelweiss Mutual Fund has a 15-plus member equity investment team managing money across stocks and factor investing. The equity and hybrid Asset Under Management (AUM) across various strategies has doubled in the last two years, reaching more than Rs. 53,000 crores as of June 30, 2024. This increased staff has strengthened and prepared the Asset Management Company (AMC) for future expansion. Over 15 lakh investors have invested in EMF’s well-diversified offerings, bringing the total AUM to more than Rs. 1.35 lakh crore as of June 30, 2024.

Aniruddha joins EMF following a long tenure with JM Financial, where he was a part of the core fund management team. He oversaw strategy and macro research while also covering a wide range of sectors, with a major concentration on consumption and financial services. Aniruddha has also spoken about automobiles, building materials, industrials, telecommunications, and media. Aniruddha is a Chartered Financial Analyst with an MBA (dual degree) from ICFAI University in Hyderabad. He also finished the PGPMX MBA from IIM-Indore.
