Red Fort Capital, India’s premier non-banking financial corporation (NBFC), has invested $100 million in Kanjiravelil Traders Private Limited (KTPL), one of the country’s largest nutmeg processing enterprises. The investment will assist KTPL in expanding its operations, increasing its market share, and investing in machinery to manufacture high-quality nutmeg for domestic and international markets.
KTPL has a large presence in the nutmeg processing sector in India, with a market share of more than 50%, particularly in Kerala. Around 11,000 tonnes of high-quality nutmeg are produced and processed by the company, which is widely utilised in Indian cuisine, beverages, and is exported to many nations. Everest Agro Spices, Nestle, Irine Agro Spices, and Olam Agro India Pvt Ltd are among their clientele. KTPL is well-known for its devotion to innovation and product creation, as well as its commitment to sustainable and ethical business practises.
