Clix Capital has appointed Rakesh Kaul as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As a part of this role, Kaul will help deploying emerging technologies and ensure innovative measure aimed at driving lending models responsive to end-customer needs. His appointment will be effective from 16 August 2021.
In this new role, he will be responsible for all business verticals of Clix Capital , reporting directly to the Board.
Kaul holds over two decades of experience in the Financial Services sector, across segments namely in Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgages, etc., and has held a wide variety of leadership positions in India, Malaysia and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, he was associated with with RHB Malaysia, where he led the Consumer Banking business for the group covering Malaysia and ASEAN markets.
Earlier, he worked with Citigroup, where he led several roles across divisions namely Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking and Capital Markets divisions.
