PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd., a prominent life insurer, announced today the appointment of Sameer Bansal as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, starting July 1, 2024, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Bansal, who has over 25 years of experience in financial services, has successfully led various distribution channels including Bancassurance, Agency, Digital, Employee Benefits, and Direct marketing. He joined PNB MetLife in 2007 and currently serves as Chief Distribution Officer and a member of the leadership team.
He succeeds Ashish Srivastava, who has been named Managing Director for MetLife Inc.’s Global Shared Services team in India.

Bansal will oversee the growth of MetLife’s key market in India, which includes 149 branches and over 18,600 locations through extensive bank partnerships.
