Kishore Piraji Kharat has taken charge as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IDBI Bank with effect from Aug 14, 2015. Prior to it, he was posted as Executive Director in the Union Bank of India.
Kharat has completed his graduation in commerce and law, and is a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. In addition to it, he also holds a Diploma in Management.
Before Union Bank of India, Kharat has also worked with Bank of Baroda for a tenure of 30 years. He has managed several verticals of banking, including credit, international business, information technology and general administration both in India and abroad.
