If carrying credentials gives you a hard time, your one big worry is resolved.
As per the recent developments, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched mAadhaar app for mobile users that will allow users to carry unique identification profile on mobile.
A user can now visit Google play store and download the Aadhaar number profile through their smartphones. This feature will, therefore, omit the requirement of carrying the hard copies of the card, wherever applicable.
The feature will soon be released for iOS users.
Further, it will allow the users to carry their Aadhaar demographic information, i.e. name, date of birth, gender, address and the photograph linked with their Aadhaar number, on their smartphones.
After the launch of the app a user can not only carry Aadhaar data on their mobiles as an identification proof, but one can also lock/ unlock their biometric details linked to Aadhaar to secure their personal data.
